Camping and Hiking Trips

There is a monthly camping or hiking trip, rain or shine. Activities are tailored to the skill level of the individual scout. For example, the entire troop will go to the Appalachian Trail, but the new scouts will take a less aggressive trail to the same destination as the older group. Responsibilities for cooking, setting up camp, and other activities are designated in order to fulfill rank advancement requirements for each scout.
